The Human Computer Interface or HCI of Microsoft Word is very user intuitive and easy to navigate.  When the program is first opened, it gives the user a page that displays several labeled icons which represent pre-loaded templates.  Once a user chooses a template, the program loads and the template is displayed, along with program’s main HCI.  At the topmost left-hand corner of the HCI, there is a customizable, quick access toolbar.  This toolbar consists of small icons that the user can add for the most used functions.  For example, there is an icon of a floppy disc which is commonly known to represent the save feature of a program.
