Most people are not born with values and ethics, these are learned behaviors that over time are engrained into a person’s personality and daily life. Building ethics is not complete when one becomes an adult, it is a learning process; over time the things one learns will change and so may values and ethics. This paper will first explain what role ethics plays in communications. And then summarize three of the ethical decision-making models presented in the introduction of Media Ethics.
